The first Simon electronic game made its debut in 1978, and the original "Simon Says" repeating game is thought to date all the way back to 1264. This Simon Think Fast Electronic Memory Game from Schylling has been updated from the original electronic game and a few more game variations have been added to the 13th-century, repeat-after-me premise. This light-up game can be played in 3 ways and accommodates both 1 and 2 players. The basic idea is simple - the game emits a sound and light pattern and players are challenged to remember and repeat it. But, player beware: the patterns become more and more complicated, resulting in laugh-out-loud fun. Updated with a touchpad and digital sounds and effects, there is nothing old fashioned about this ancient game. Three AA batteries included.
Ages 7 & up.
