#18 Easter Egg Garland

  • Felt
  • 1/2 cup white glue
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Measuring cup
  • Wooden spoon
  • Bowl
  • Scissors
  • Egg template (Sue Says: An egg cookie cutter or cardboard egg-shaped template works great!)
  • Ribbon
  • Embellishments such as buttons, sequins, puffy paint
  • Hole punch

STEP ONE: Pour _ cup white glue and _ cup water into the bowl
STEP TWO: Stir the glue and water together with the wooden spoon until it is blended (Sue Says: Consistency of this mixture should be similar to the consistency of milk.)
STEP THREE: Immerse pieces of felt into the mixture
STEP FOUR: Remove pieces of felt from the mixture and smooth out on flat surface. Allow to dry for 24 hours
STEP FIVE: Pour _ cup white glue and _ cup water into the bowl
STEP SIX: Let the kiddos decorate the eggs with leftover felt, buttons, puffy paint, sequins, and other fun accessories
STEP SEVEN: Punch holes on the top of each of the eggs
STEP EIGHT: String egg shapes together with a pretty colored ribbon
STEP NINE: Hang garland across the mantle or above a doorway
