Learning this Distraction: Game of Memory and Hilarious Distractions from Think Fun is easy. Playing it? Playing it is a hilarious challenge. Players take turns placing one of their number cards on the stack and then, from memory, reciting all the numbers played so far, in order. But watch out! If players happen to lay a distraction card, they have to do the task or answer the question on the card before reciting the list of numbers. Think they can keep a list of 6 or 8 or 10 numbers in their brain while they answer a question (where would you like to go on your next vacation?) or complete a task (close your eyes and try to touch your fingertips together)? If they can't, they have to take the whole stack of number cards into their hand and, since the object of the game, besides having a fabulously fun time and building memory skills, is to run out of cards, that is not what any player wants to have happen. Game includes 52 round number cards and 100 distraction questions. For 2 or more players, ages 8 & up.
Games can provide children with opportunities to learn how to successfully engage with others in a reciprocal, cooperative, turn-taking environment while learning new skills and gaining confidence. Distraction also provides childern with an opportunity to move during game play whic can be comforitng to them.
