ANSWER: We still have the Bug Flashlight, close to two years after purchasing. We gave it to our 7 year old daughter at Easter, and it was a hit! I would guess a three year old could operate it, and fun enough for a 4 1/2 year old to enjoy. by N I 11/2/2011
ANSWER: I apologize, I bought it as a gift and had it shipped to my nephew. I don't know how it turned out. I DID buy it for a four year old boy, though. Sorry I can't help you with this. by G H 11/2/2011
ANSWER: I bought this for my daughter when she was 3...it was a great size for her small hand. Our only trouble was when our older child got a hold of it and was too rough, breaking the bulb I'm sure the bulb can be replaced.
For any child who plans to go creature-hunting with it, or do shadow puppets, it works fine! by T H 11/2/2011
ANSWER: These are a lot of fun to play with for all ages. Kids love to turn off the lights and shine the flashlight around. They love to play secret spy and look at books under the covers. They last quite a long time. by V O 11/2/2011
